Soundcore Motion X500: Nächster Lautsprecher von Anker im Test (2024)

Erst in der vergangenen Woche haben wir euch den neuen Soundcore Motion 300 von Anker vorgestellt. Heute ist ein weiterer Bluetooth-Lautsprecher des Herstellers erschienen, der Soundcore Motion X500 (Amazon-Link). Er ist ab sofort für 169,99 Euro auf Amazon erhältlich. Was euch genau erwartet, das verraten wir euch in diesem Testbericht.

Falls euch die langweiligen Details und meine Meinung rund um die Namensgebung der Anker-Lautsprecher nicht interessieren, dann könnt ihr die folgenden beiden Absätze überspringen. Danach gibt es dann auch ein paar wissenswerte Infos rund um den Klang und die Funktionen des Soundcore Motion X500.

Glitzerblau und Rosa Punsch X500

Ich würde ja wirklich gerne mal in einer Marketing-Abteilung eines Herstellers arbeiten. Den etwas größeren Motion X600 bietet Anker in den Farben Frostgrau, Himmelblau und Auroragrün an. In Blau und Schwarz gibt es den neuen Soundcore Motion X500 auch, allerdings heißen die Farben in diesem Fall Schwarz Deluxe und Glitzerblau. Dazu gesellt sich mit Rosa Punsch eine dritte Farbe.

Was mich allerdings wirklich ein wenig irritiert: Der letzte Woche erschienene Soundcore Motion 300 bietet 30 Watt Leistung. Der Motion X500 kommt auf 40 Watt und der Motion X600 liefert bis zu 50 Watt Leistung. Wären da nicht X400 und X500 als Bezeichnung passender gewesen? Bei einer Sache kann ich euch immerhin beruhigen: Das zusätzliche X hat tatsächlich eine Bedeutung, denn im Gegensatz zum kleine Motion 300 bieten die beiden größeren Modelle Spatial Audio.

Der Klang des Soundcore Motion X500

Womit wir gleich beim Thema Klang wären. Während Spatial Audio bei den AirPods direkt im Ohr eine ziemlich beeindruckende Sache ist, ist es bei den Anker-Lautsprechern meiner Meinung nach nicht viel mehr als ein Marketing-Gag. Bei normaler Musik nimmt man beispielsweise einen Stereo-Effekt kaum wahr, das hätte mich bei der kompakten Bauweise aber auch wirklich überrascht.

Und dann wäre da ja noch die Spatial Audio Taste, mit der man durch drei voreingestellte Equalizer-Einstellungen wechseln kann: Bass Boost, räumliche Signatur und räumliche Dynamik. Die letztgenannte Option hat mir mit Abstand am besten gefallen, hier liefert der Soundcore Motion X500 meiner Meinung nach einen wirklich ordentlichen Klang.

In den Einstellungen der Soundcore-App kann man den Equalizer auch selbst konfigurieren und dabei sogar eine eigene Farbe für den kleinen LED-Ring an der Oberseite des Speakers auswählen. Schade nur: Mit der Taste an der Oberseite des Speakers kann man ausschließlich zwischen den Voreinstellungen wechseln. Zurück zum eigenen Equalizer geht es ausschließlich per App.

Soundcore Motion X500 und X600 sind definitiv verwandt

Glücklicherweise hat Anker beim Soundcore Motion X500 auf das aufdringliche Logo verzichtet, das beim Motion 300 unübersehbar an der Front prangt. Es fällt beim neuen Lautsprecher sehr viel dezenter aus. Für eine noch etwas hochwertigere Optik hätte ich es aber wie beim Soundcore Motion X600 komplett weggelassen.

Abgesehen davon sieht der X500 wie ein etwas zusammengestauchter X600 aus. Positiv anzumerken ist auf jeden Fall die Materialwahl, das Aluminium fühlt sich richtig klasse an. Nur die Rückseite des Speakers ist leider komplett aus Kunststoff gefertigt.

Wenn euch der etwas andere Formfaktor nicht wichtig ist, würde ich am Ende des Tages aber doch zum größeren Bruder des Soundcore Motion X500 greifen. Der Soundcore Motion X600 bietet aus meiner Sicht einen noch bessere Klang bei gleicher Akkulaufzeit von 12 Stunden, zudem gibt es einen AUX-Anschluss und der Preis liegt nur rund 30 Euro höher.
