While things at Cam High aren't perfect, we are a family. The community at Camarillo High School is welcoming and kind! All of the staff there are more than willing to help students reach their goals, even the ones that go beyond campus! The student body is full of kind, smart and fun kids! The sports at Cam are super fun as well! The food offered there is yummy, the student section is WILD, and the sports teams always play their best! I have never been to a boring football or basketball game at ACHS! Overall, this school is a wonderful place to spend 4 years and I am proud to be a Scorp!

Sometimes I wish I had more help in my high school career. I felt as though I navigated this experience on my own, even when applying for colleges, I had little to no help.

I enjoyed the diversity and community that Adolfo Camarillo High School offered. The staff and students created a comfortable atmosphere around campus that made my peers and I feel at ease to go to school each day. Though there were many teachers that left a positive impression on me I would like to see a bigger push to maintain effective class schedules that don't overwork or overwhelm students.

Well i just moved to this school in 2022 and i was greeted with much kindness. I love how this school is very comforting and has many opportunities such as sports, clubs, electives, and chances to get into colleges with getting the right information. I don’t see much dislikes about this school. I really enjoy staying here and can’t wait to graduate next year

ACHS is not what I would imagine as the best high school education program. While I imagine lots of other schools had a tough time adjusting to the pandemic, ACHS did a very lackluster job. The school never seemed to recover and I was in the class of 2023.

Old campus and iffy teachers, however, there are a lot of amazing people that you meet. Sports are really good as well.

My experience was great but I didn’t like how strict they were and rude at some times. As well you have to get help yourself if you need it because they don’t help you out that much or take you seriously.

Adolfo Camarillo High School provided me with a solid education and a sense of community. The teachers were knowledgeable and supportive, offering a variety of challenging courses. The school encouraged inclusivity and school pride through extracurricular activities. However, resource availability could be improved with updated facilities and technology. Overall, my experience at Adolfo Camarillo High School was positive, providing me with personal and academic growth. I am grateful for the memories and believe the school will continue to thrive and impact future students.

I love the sports experience. The wrestling team is like family to me. The worst experience is the Long block period.

I had a lot of fun in and outside of class and made a lot of memories that I will miss since I am about to graduate. Some of my highlights are in Biology class just laughing with my friends the whole entire time making jokes and I couldn't stop laughing. Another great memory is lunchtime because anything can happen like a radio station playing music at our school, free pizza, or just hanging out with my friends. My worst memory is during the pandemic because it cut my freshmen year short and I never had a sophomore year. Because we had to quarantine I feel like I missed out on my high school experience.

ACHS is a really awesome school and I have really enjoyed my time here! The teachers here truly care about the health and success of their students. I have had a ton of fun in all of the classes that I have taken here, even the honors classes. I honestly can't think of a single class that I have genuinely hated (besides COVID, but that's kinda different). Also, the dances and rallies are super fun! There are tons of exciting sports events and clubs to take part in as extracurriculars. Football and basketball games are my favorite things to go and watch! Overall, I would definitely recommend going here for high school. :)

My experance so far has been good. The teachers are very helpful and inclusive with all the students. I would like to see more classes available for real-world situations. A taxes classes or a financing class would be beneficial for students.

Going to Adolfo Camarillo Highschool has caused me to have mixed feelings on it. ACHS connects people and brings them closer together through the sports, academics, clubs, and the many other extra curricular activities. I do wish the school would listen to more of what the students want to see, including the school schedule. I think it’s a great school and I’m glad to have attended it for the last 3 years and hope my last year will be great.

I definitely had some good teachers and staff experiences at ACHS but some of the staff members were so rude to me and made my experience painful a lot of the times. i also felt like a lot of my teachers didn’t care about me at all.

Overall, ACHS is a good, solid school that has provided me with some of the best times of my life so far. There have been some not so good times, but that is with every school, right? I've been in the music program for all four years, and through the excellent instruction from Cameron Guerrero, Daniel Cook, and Phil Idell, my love for music and music teaching was sparked right here. If anyone is looking to go into the music field, wether than be performance, education, or any other music related profession, I would highly recommend ACHS because I know that not only will you be getting the best of the best in terms of instruction, but you will be apart of something bigger. You will be apart of an every growing and loving culture and some of the best people you will ever meet in your life.

As a junior student attending Adolfo Camarillo High School, ACHS, I can say with great pleasure that it is a career path of education filled with great experiences. Adolfo Camarillo High School focuses on the success of all students and provides a safe, engaging, and supporting comprehensive learning. What I desire the most are that teachers and staff take the initiative of their job and students show value towards student life. This schooling is built on great diversity and leads students to look at their lives in a manageable and honest manner. Adolfo Camarillo High is a college readiness high school filled with great experiences for all students including an elective course named AVID, Advancement Via Individual Determination and a College and Career Center, that allows counselling and college advisors to show and support students financially and academically. ACHS provides opportunity for all. Furthermore, it can become a school that will lead you towards a more successful future.

I like Adolfo Camarillo Highschool. My first couple years they did not have AC, but now we do so that makes school a lot easier to get by. I do not like how long of school hours we have to have because we used to be on academic probation. I love my counselor and love the people who work in the college and career center. I also love my work experience class.

It’s been pretty good for the most part. The majority of the school knows respect and we really know how to laugh off our mistakes. We also have good intentions but sometimes struggle to show that. Most of the teachers put effort in and are kind, although I have had my share of rather favoritism and/or teachers who seem like they don’t want to be there. Overall the school spirit is high, the academics provided are phenomenal and the students are diverse. If you’re looking for a public, good quality school, with culture of it’s own this is the right high school for you.
